Positioned in Evanston, Ill., 10 miles north of downtown Chicago, the Hotel Orrington is one block from Northwestern University, three blocks from the Lake Michigan waterfront and one fifth mile from the Chicago 'L' train. The hotel property has recently has undergone a $34 million renovation, transforming this historic building into an urban oasis of sophistication and charm. Hotel Features. The Hotel Orrington lobby boasts leather sitting areas and a lounge with flat screen televisions and Indigo velvet high backed chairs, brown velvet couches and marble tables.
