Location. Overlooking the azure waters of the Andaman Sea is the Pakasai Resort in Krabi, Ao Nang, in southern Thailand. The Pakasai Resort is located along the banks of a hillside surrounded by gardens beside the bucolic Noppharat Thara National Park. Fringed by palms, limestone cliffs and colorful coral reefs, Ao Nang features some of Krabi's most developed beaches.

Hotel Features. Guests can begin the day by enjoying breakfast on the garden terraces. Later, drinks are available while guests may choose to sunbath beside the pool. For health and beauty, Adora Spa, operated by the hotel partner, the Maritime Park and Spa Resort, welcomes guests from Pakasai Resort. There, massage therapists specialize in traditional Thai massage. Other health and beauty treatments featuring herbal and aroma therapies are also available.

Guestrooms. The 77 guestrooms are furnished with bedroom suites in rich hardwood with low laying profiles, Asian styling and d�cor that that feels contemporary yet decidedly Far Eastern. All rooms feature oversized bathrooms and have private balconies that face out onto gardens. Satellite televisions and international direct dialing telephones allow guests to stay in touch with an outside world that the Pakasai Resort will inspire most to forget. Minibars allow guests to fix an impromptu aperitif or midnight libation.

Expert Tip. For a day trip, Ao Nang serves as embarkation point for beautiful Railey Beach, which is accessible only by boat.

Gala Dinners:

The hotel hosts a gala dinner on December 24 and December 31, 2007. Guests are charged for the dinners regardless of whether they attend. Fees for the dinners are collected by the hotel at check in.
