The Suite Hotel Eden Mar is a modern resort hotel set in lush sub tropical gardens, 100 metres from the ocean in Funchal on the Portuguese island of Madeira. The hotel features 146 air conditioned studios with simple cream decor and modern furnishings. All studios have balconies overlooking the gardens or sea, and include kitchenettes, cable television, safes, and bathrooms with bathrobes, telephones and hair dryers.

Guests can relax on a sun bed by one of four outdoor freshwater pools, or work up a sweat with a game of tennis or squash. After a work out in the gym, guests can relax in the steam room, sauna or jetted tub, or enjoy a pampering session in the spa, where mineral oil massages, reflexology, and manicures are among the treatments available. Guests can dine on Portuguese specialities in the Alfama Restaurant, or visit one of the restaurants at a nearby sister hotel, and the Oceano bar is open for cocktails and live music in the evenings. Golf enthusiasts can play a few rounds on the putting green, practise their swing on the driving range or putt for fun on the mini golf course. Children will enjoy the playground, playroom and kids' pool. Conference rooms offer facilities for business guests, and a complimentary minibus provides transport to the city centre several times a day. The beautiful east coast is the destination for nature lovers, two and a half kilometres away. Funchal Airport is approximately 20 kilometres and a 25 minute drive from the hotel. This hotel is part of the Porto Bay Hotels & Resorts and guests have access to all facilities within the resort. For dining, guests can enjoy the Restaurant Atlantida that features buffet meals for breakfast and dinner. A la carte meals are available for lunch. Other restaurants include the Alfama, Med and the Il Basilico Italian Restaurant.
