Quinta Perestrello is a renovated manor house set in private gardens, 500 metres from Quinta Magnolia Park and one kilometre from Funchal centre. This four floor hotel features 36 air conditioned guestrooms, all of which are furnished in traditional Portuguese style with warm, muted tones and wood furniture and floors. All rooms offer terraces or balconies with garden views, cable television, direct dial phones, Internet ports (fee), minibars and safes (fee). Bathrooms come equipped with hairdryers.

The hotel's intimate restaurant reflects the manor house setting and has seating both in the main building and in the conservatory. Buffet breakfasts are served each morning. Snacks are available for lunch, and for dinner, � la carte dishes are served. After breakfast, guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and relax in the lounge or take tea on the terrace. Staff on the 24 hour front desk can assist with currency exchange and laundry requirements, and arrange transport to and from the airport (surcharge). Guests are welcome to use the spa facilities at Quinta das Vistas hotel, including a sauna, spa, and fitness centre and health club. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the surrounding area; the bars and restaurants of Funchal city centre are only one kilometre from the hotel, and there are golf courses nearby, including Palheiro Golf Club (15 kilometres) and Santo da Serra Golf Club (20 kilometres). Madeira Funchal International Airport is 20 kilometres away and takes around 20 minutes by car.

Driving Directions

The hotel can arrange transport to and from the airport (surcharge) and taxis are available outside the terminal. Fares cost around 35 EUR. Funchal can be explored on foot or by bus. A rental car is recommended for travelling further afield.
Driving directions: From the airport head to Funchal and take the fourth exit to the city with the sign 'Hospital' on the left. Continue past the hospital roundabout and take the second left. At the end of the road turn right at the traffic lights. After the bridge continue past the traffic lights for 150 metres and take the first road on the right. At the top of this road turn right, turn right again and the Quinta Perestrello is 70 metres on the right.
