Built in 1790, the Tramore Grand Hotel is a family run hotel on the main square of the small coastal town of Tramore. The 82 guestrooms are decorated with floral bedspreads and curtains, pale walls and oak furniture. All have tea and coffee making facilities, television, hair dryers, makeup mirrors and telephones. Baby listening services and cots are free of charge, and babysitting can be arranged on request (fee).
The Doneraile bar and restaurant serves local dishes, including children's and vegetarian options. The dining room is decorated in warm shades of terracotta, with wood panelling and upholstered chairs. The lively Duffy's Bar has burgundy leather armchairs, low beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls; traditional pub bar food is served here, with Irish nights, live music and sing songs on selected evenings. Business guests can make use of conference rooms and secretarial services, and currency exchange is also available. Recreational facilities within five miles of the hotel include horse riding, surfing and golf. Dublin International airport is 198 kilometres away.

Bus services are available to connect Waterford and Dublin Airport with Tramore. Parking spaces are available in the town square. From Dublin Airport, take the M50 southbound, then turn onto the N9 towards Waterford. In Waterford follow the Cork road and turn left for Tramore before the Esso station. Go straight on for 7 miles, then take the second exit at the next three roundabouts. Go straight to the top of the hill, turn right, and the Grand Hotel is the large building on the left.
