Location. The Elounda Aqua Sol Resort is situated in the former fishing village of Elounda on Greece's southernmost island of Crete, 200 metres from the beach and sparkling Mediterranean Sea. The resort town of Agios Nikolaos can be found 10 kilometres away. Kazantzakis Airport is 65 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 60 minutes.
Hotel Features. Complimentary sun loungers and sunshades may be used under a palm tree on the garden lawn, on the terraces by the Olympic sized pool, or at the private beach. The pool and sea provide opportunity for water sports. The children's swimming pool, playground, and games room will appeal to younger guests, and the hotel also offers billiards, darts, and table tennis. Guests can also use the TV room, Internet corner (surcharge), and lounge.
Elounda Aqua Sol Resort offers a buffet of Greek, Mediterranean, and International dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Ariadne Restaurant. Lunch can be enjoyed at Sailors Restaurant, and the Poolside bar is open during the day in the summer months. Guests can enjoy a range of drinks at the Poseidon Cocktail Bar.
During the high season, sports activities including tennis, basketball, and volleyball are offered for children and adults during the day, while folkloric dancing and shows as well as theme presentations are performed nightly either in the open air theatre or at the Sailors Restaurant.
Guestrooms. The hotel offers 182 guestrooms located over two floors, all featuring balconies overlooking the garden, land, or sea. All have modern decor with light wood furnishings and include satellite television, direct dial phones, refrigerators, and safes (surcharge). Bathrooms have shower/tub combinations and hair dryers.
Expert Tip. The sea off the coast of the Elounda was known as a place for mermaids in ancient times and is a great spot for scuba diving.

Getting there. The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is by taxi which typically costs around 70 EUR.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the national road in the direction of Agios Nikolaos. At the traffic light intersection, just before Agios Nikolaos, turn left for Elounda (9 kilometres). After 7 kilometres, follow the sign for Aqua Sol Resort.
