Location. The Hotel Vis is housed in a three storey property dating from the 1960s, located overlooking the sea by a pebble beach, four kilometres from Dubrovnik's historic Old Town. Dubrovnik Airport is 40 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Hotel Vis houses a lounge bar and features its own private pebble beach, which is located directly in front of the property. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer the use of a safe deposit box, and dial up Internet access is available in the air conditioned public areas. Motorists will find complimentary parking on site.
The Hotel Vis's restaurant serves authentic Dalmatian dishes and seafood specialities and affords views of the Elafiti Islands, while the Lido snack bar offers drinks by the beach.
Guestrooms. The 152 guestrooms over three floors feature light, neutral decor and functional furnishings and open onto balconies. All are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, dial up Internet connections and bathrooms with showers, makeup mirrors and complimentary toiletries.
Expert Tip. The Sponza Palace, four kilometres away, was built between 1516 and 1522 and features a distinctive and attractive mix of Gothic and Renaissance architecture. It once housed the mint and the customs house.
